Caring for you and your new bra

Bras will stretch up to 4 inches during their service to us, so when choosing a bra try to pick a size that is a snug fit on the middle or loosest hook. This will ensure that as the bra relaxes, you are able to tighten the band and are still able to maintain the snugness needed to give you the optimum support.

A properly fitting bra provides it support from beneath, creating a balcony for your breasts to sit on. Less than 10% of support should come from the shoulder straps. A bra should hug your ribcage firmly, regardless of your position or activity.

Because of this, new bras should be treated like new shoes and need to be broken in. Begin by wearing your new bra for short intervals for the first few times. Change to an old favorite if it starts to become uncomfortable.

All bras should be given a day to rest between wearing to allow the elastic to retain its memory. If you decide to break in two or more bras consecutively, it is recommended that you choose different styles so that the bra doesn't sit at exactly the same place on your body.

It is always the manufacturers' recommendation to hand wash intimate apparel. However, in this busy world, many women choose to take the chance of damaging the delicate fabrics and lace by laundering their garments in a washing machine. If you choose to do this: ALWAYS use a lingerie bag. NEVER use bleach. ALWAYS drip dry and NEVER tumble dry.

Take care of your Swimwear

We want you to enjoy your new suit. To ensure it's longevity always hand rinse with fresh water after use. Lay it flat to dry out of the direct sunlight. Avoid pools and hot tubs with high levels of chlorine or chemicals. Chlorine can discolor and/or destroy fabric and elastic in as little as one exposure if levels are too high.

Metallic fabrics are intended for tanning purposes only.
