It has taken a little longer than I had planned or wished. However, when I spoke to you in June, I was in a health facility and very much in need of rehabilitation. Part of the rehab consisted of walking and exercise. As you are aware I have a very large bosom. This put a lot of strain on my arthritic back and caused much discomfort during my rehab.
Much to my relief a few emails helped my husband take accurate measurements. This resulted in a very supportive, comfortable fit. This bra gave me much needed support during extended periods of exercise. This made my rehab less taxing and ultimately more productive.
Again, I have found the bra most comfortable and the support relieves some of my back pain. The instructions for getting a good fit were both clear and concise. Thank you.

I love my new bra and would like another one in a light color that I can wear with light-colored tops. I was worried it was too small, and it took a couple of weeks to break it in but it is FABULOUS now.
Now how easy is this!? This is going to be my new favorite way to buy bras. I can't even wear any of my old bras now - they are GIGANTIC - and feel like bags. I never realized before that all my bras were just too big. And that that was why I was adjusting them all the time.

I was recently on vacation in the keys and Barbara helped me with two amazing bathing suits. I love them both and Barbara was wonderful bringing me suit after suit. I just may have tried on all the suits that you have in my size! The brown and white polka dot one matches the boat wonderfully (so the boat is white and it isn't hard to do  :) Not only was I lucky enough to get two great suits (and have a boyfriend patient enough to endure over an hour in the dressing room) but he got me a gorgeous New Zealand Abalone bracelet....Thanks again for all your help! On April 5, 2009, I walked into Lion's Lair Swimwear on Islamorada without really expecting to find a swimsuit. I was incredibly surprised. I am a young plus-size woman, and I have been plus-sized all of my life. I am used to receiving quizzical, even hostile, looks from customer service when I walk into a swim wear store. Lion's Lair was a totally different experience for me. Cassandra immediately greeted me warmly and proceeded to find me a gorgeous swimsuit that I will be proud to wear this summer. She was incredibly honest and helpful. I tried on several suits. Cassandra gave honest appraisals, and vetoed several suits that didn't look right. I appreciate the fact that she wasn't just going to sell me any suit that I could squeeze into. She was going to sell me a suit that looked fabulous -- or no suit at all. I ended up loving and purchasing a Maxine swim skirt in chocolate brown, a Maxine tankini top in chocolate brown and white polka dots, and a brown mesh cover-up. I will certainly be back for more next time I am in the Keys.

I wanted let you know that I received my swim suit yesterday and I love it. Thank you! Thank you! The Tara Grinna underwire Tankini fits great. I feel comfortable not self conscious. It FLATTERS my bust Instead of FLATTENS it. The skirted bottom hides what I need it to. My husband loves it, also. Let's just say he was REALLY happy to see me in it.
I will feel comfortable playing with my kids and not be constantly tugging at my suit.

Just wanted to let you know again how thankful I am that I finally came into your store and was fitted for bras that actually, well, FIT!!  I'll tell you, I was skeptical.
As much as I thought I liked the smooth nude one from the other day, I absolutely LOVE the blue/black one from today. I now know the key for me is to make sure that middle part is flush to my chest- It really seems to make a difference in the fit all around. So I'm counting on you to make sure I DO NOT ever even try bring home something that isn't just right at that part!!
I have emptied out the mis-fit gang of ill-fitting garments I've been using as poor excuses for bras (!!!) and have a good bit of room to gradually fill in with a few more things from your store. My husband saw the difference in how I felt (and looked) after just two days and is encouraging me to come back soon!!
I can honestly say I will encourage all my girlfriends (large & small) to come in and see the difference the right fit can make.

I returned the extra Greta yesterday. You should have it tomorrow or Friday. I wanted to take an extra few minutes to say that I really appreciate your expertise and your high level of customer service.
Although this bra I received is pricey--most of my bras cost about $50-$60, this one fits well and looks good under my clothing. I have other Wacoals that fit well, but they don't look as well under a sweater. Since my winter work uniform is usually a sweater and slacks/skirt, this is a great option.
The delivery is quick......most mail order items take 5-7 business days unless you select the very expensive two day option. Your response time is amazing and you're all quite friendly and a pleasure to work with.
Most of us spend a considerable amount of time when we're not happy, but few of us spend time making note of a pleasurable shopping experience.

Hello Ladies!
It is time for me to order new bras! This is the first time in my life that I actually look forward to bra shopping- NO MORE BOOB SPILLAGE, NO MORE BANDS THAT RIDE UP, NO MORE STRAPS THAT CAN'T SEEM TO STAY IN PLACE- YEA!!!  Finally, I know what it feels like to not have a rash under my breasts because they are actually lifted up instead of sitting low. I know this sounds ridiculous, but from the time I was 14 years old- I have had this problem.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such a difference in how I begin each day- My clothes fit better, I walk with my head up and shoulders back!!

Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, patience, caring, and understanding attitudes that you all have presented to me in the past 2 or so months. I stumbled upon your website through Freya.com when I was searching out retailers that would have some swimsuits that would actually fit properly. My soon to be husband and I called once I showed him all the nice things that I had come across. Savannah answered the phone and assisted us in telling us which swimsuits would work out for my size 30 G UK. Within 10 minutes of talking to her she emailed us a detailed list of what would work for me and what was expected to ship soon. The one suit that I had wanted for a while was the Freya "Coco Loco" and Savannah included that in the list of suits that would fit. Ecstatic, we ordered that suit along with the Disco Lemonade, and a couple other bras to go with it. The suits and the bras arrived so quickly from Florida I was amazed. Savannah has been especially helpful, as well as the owner Kim and Carol! Every time I talk to someone at your store I get the same respect from everyone, and the same patience that I received the first time I called your store. You all have a customer for life and I am so thankful for all the time that you have given me, that you just don't see anymore in stores! Most well-endowed women might agree, bathing suit shopping is not fun! I was vacationing in the Keys and someone recommended your shop, so I had to check it out myself. From the moment I walked in your shop, I had a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of bathing suits and your customer service was wonderful. I can not thank you enough. In the past I have never worn a swimsuit with confidence. From teenager to adult I have covered up with tee shirts and shorts because of ill fitting tops (breast too large) and bottoms which were too short (thighs too large), oh and don't forget the grandmother swim-dress (just too embarrassing).

I received my bathing suits today in the mail and I wanted to tell you how pleased I am. Just so you know I work for Canada Post and your shipping rates and times, were great, it took about 10 days to get to me and there wasn't any issues with customs, to my delight. I have searched and searched for a nice bathing suit let alone bras and once I discovered fantasie and freya, I was hooked. BUT, being in Canada it is an issue to find retail of this line. You were so helpful Savannah, I can't wait to order some bras.
I absolutely love the Disco Lemonade top and bottom, they fit perfectly and are comfortable, and so pretty.

I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for bringing your selection to the world of voluptuous women. I prefer that word to plus sized!
I was visiting the Keys with my husband and his friends from Holland. It was my first visit to the Keys, other than Key West on a cruise ship. Your store was within walking distance from our motel so I told my husband I was going over to check out your selection.
I have to admit, I was quite skeptical since there have been many others claiming to have sizes to fit fuller breasted women which ended up making me laugh out loud when they turn out to be little more than nipple covers!
My delight was the service from Sara and Carol who were very pleasant, patient, informative and genuinely had my best interests at heart. While I do love my new swimwear, I am more ecstatic about my bras which I ended up buying as well! I have bought these brands before, through online services but since it was more of a guessing game, sometimes turned out to be an expensive mistake. Their expertise and patience ensured I was fitted with the correct size and fit.
My bras make me feel SO good about myself and are actually BEAUTIFUL! My husband usually fusses at me for spending so much on my bras but one day, I took him bra shopping with me, right into the fitting room so now, there's not a peep out of him and he LOVES how pretty my new ones are!

I just got my Pina Colada suit and I must say, it's HEAVENLY. I've been Special K'ing for two weeks in anticipation and it's AMAZING. Never before have I found a suit that makes my awkward proportions (5'4", 34F, size 4... AWKWARD) look amazing, but I tried this suit on and honestly I did a little dance once I put it on, it's amazing. I've never ever been totally comfortable in a bathing suit, and this one is AMAZING. Also, I went out on a limb and bought it in yellow-ish, which is a rough color to pull off, but it magically WORKED. I can't tell you how happy I am; it's ridiculous, really. Thank you SO much for working with me to pull this off and I'll make sure to send a picture of everyone enjoying their time at the beach and NOT worrying about my bathing suit fitting weirdly.

My experience was outstanding! Becky and your Mom were great. I haven't ever had a more wonderful retail experience, Nordstrom has been close but your Mom and Becky went above and beyond to help and make me feel very special. Bathing suit shipping has always been the worst experience for me until I stopped into your store. I think I was there about 2 ? hours according to my husband and bought 3 bathing suits and a cover up. You also have a great selection! The Freya line is beautiful and I inherited a huge bust size from my mother so it has always been a struggle to find stylish, fitted swimwear!

I just wanted to write and thank you for the personalized attention you gave during my moments of frustration. It is very difficult at times to find a swimming suit let alone one that fits someone with a bust size larger than DD.

Your team of professionals were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Laughing and making the time more enjoyable was important too. The team is #1.

Everyone always wants to know what brought me in to the boutique. Simply stated: the bill board! I saw the sign which reads cup sizes DD or bigger! I thought to myself, NO WAY! This was not possible.

Well, I must have tried on every suit in the store that was remotely comparable to my necessary size until we narrowed it down to two. I couldn't believe it...yes, two. AND, you actually knew how to provide the correct size. Not like those other places that have limited sizes, styles and colors. Well, to make a long story short, I purchased two swimming suits and began telling my family - well endowed too, about the Lion's Lair. They are excited and said they would be looking at the web site for their next swim suit and bras.

I just have to tell you that I RAVE about your store and my experience there to everyone I know!!! I am NOT kidding!! I was there right before New Year's this past winter visiting the Keys for the first time. I am a larger chested girl and when I saw an ad for your store i HAD to come and see. I (sadly) can not remember who it was that helped me that day but it was the best customer service I have ever experienced. I was reluctant to have help at first until nothing I tried on was working. The wonderful salesgirl brought me several pieces to try on after she asked my name, offered me a beverage, and got all the details of what I like and what I was looking for. The suit that I purchased was completely picked out by her! And I get compliments on it all the time!!

I now live in Colorado but I have sworn (and told everyone) that I will make a special trip down to the Keys and to Islamorada just to come and buy my suits there. I have recommended your website to many but the actual experience in your store makes all the difference.

I just wanted to share my experience with you and let you know that women all over Colorado and in Orlando have had an ear-full about Lion's Lair. Thank you again for such wonderful service, selection, and for making it personal. Keep up the good work!

I cannot thank you enough for all your help with the exchanges we needed to make.

As I stated when I visited the store, I have been to so many stores in North America and overseas looking for swimwear to fit me (34 - 36HH) and have been repeatedly heartbroken and near tears when I left them empty handed. I was pleasantly surprised to walk out of your store with 4 swimsuits. I would have been over the moon with just one. My trip to Lion's Lair was the best part of my trip to Florida. That says a lot from a Canadian coming there seeking warmth and sunshine after a long brutal winter.

I am writing to tell you how pleased I was with my experience at the Lion's Lair shop in Islamorada. I stopped in on March 9 and was pleasantly surprised to find such a large selection of swimwear and cover-ups. I ended up purchasing a Ritchie 2-piece "Purple Haze" that I absolutely love, along with a cute pair of board shorts. At my age and proportions finding a bikini that looks good and makes me look good can be a challenge!

I found the whole experience to be delightful and this was due entirely to your excellent and professional staff. I wish I could remember the name of the gal that helped me because she was great with helping me find the suit in the right size. My husband who was waiting patiently for me, was attracted your lovely jewelry collection and bought me a red coral bracelet as an anniversary present. Since he wanted it to be a surprise the gal's gift wrapped it and helped him smuggle it out to the car so I wouldn't see it. It was a great surprise the night of our anniversary. It is a lovely piece and I have worn it often.

From now on, I will do my swimsuit shopping at Lion's Lair. Thank you for such a great experience.
